“Local Artist Removes Offensive Forehead Tattoo on 10-Year-Old”

Must read

A gang of tormentors restrained a young pupil and used a DIY device to tattoo the word ‘p***y’ on his forehead. The victim, identified as Kao, underwent this vicious act in Kanchanaburi province, Thailand. Apart from the forehead marking, the 10-year-old also had intricate patterns inked on his limbs. Following the incident, he had to undergo intensive laser treatments to erase the offensive word.

A local tattoo artist, Janjira “Frame” Kaewket, observed the incident and promptly offered to remove the multiple tattoos to help restore the boy’s self-assurance. Janjira, the proprietor of Chaiyaphum Beautiful Eyebrows salon, assured Kao that she would rectify his appearance.

The initial laser removal session for the 10-year-old depicted him wearing protective eyewear while Ms. Kaewket worked on the tattoo. The artist expressed astonishment at the audacity of tattooing such a young child but reassured him that the tattoos could be easily eradicated since they were made using a makeshift tool—a sewing needle attached to a pen.

The removal process lasted only 15 minutes, with Ms. Kaewket mentioning the need to apply an anesthetic for about an hour due to the boy’s young age. She mentioned that apart from the forehead tattoo, there were more than ten other spots on his legs, all of which were successfully removed.

Fortunately, the tattoos were not deeply embedded, allowing for complete reversal after three laser sessions. Following the circulation of the images on Thai social media, an outpouring of support emerged, condemning the perpetrators and questioning their cruelty.

Commending Ms. Kaewket for her pro bono assistance, people lauded her actions, emphasizing the need for more individuals like her in the world. One user expressed gratitude, calling her a compassionate person, while another praised her as a hero without a cape.
