Lawmaker Pressures Prince Andrew to Testify

Must read

Prince Andrew faces serious accusations of potential involvement in a sex trafficking network with his associate Jeffrey Epstein, as stated by a prominent US lawmaker. Suhas Subramanyam, a member of the congressional committee investigating the handling of Epstein’s case, is urging the disgraced royal to testify before US lawmakers regarding the trafficking of young women linked to Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

Despite Prince Andrew’s consistent denial of any awareness or participation in illegal activities, Subramanyam launched a scathing criticism, suggesting that the Prince likely possesses critical information on how Epstein and Maxwell engaged in trafficking young women. The Congressman emphasized the importance of seeking justice for all individuals, including those with wealth and power, who may have been involved in such crimes.

Subramanyam’s statements imply that Prince Andrew’s silence and lack of cooperation with US prosecutors raise suspicions about his potential involvement in the trafficking ring. The Prince, who has refuted claims of engaging in inappropriate behavior with Virginia Giuffre, a former acquaintance of Epstein, maintains that he was unaware of any illicit activities while associating with Epstein.

Amid mounting pressure and controversy, Prince Andrew relinquished some of his titles to avoid overshadowing the royal family’s duties. However, scrutiny continues as calls grow for him to vacate his residence at the Royal Lodge due to alleged discrepancies in his lease agreement. Epstein, previously convicted of soliciting prostitution from a minor, died by suicide in 2019, while Maxwell, convicted in 2021 for sex trafficking offenses, is serving a lengthy prison sentence.
