Sky has unveiled an exciting new subscription plan that is set to shake up the streaming world. The company is rolling out a comprehensive package that combines popular services like Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the upcoming HBO Max app, all for just £24 per month. This move is aimed at providing customers with a cost-effective way to access top-tier streaming content.

The new bundle is designed to offer great value, with approximately £20 worth of streaming apps included in the package for a nominal fee. By adding this bundle to Sky’s existing basic plan priced at £15 per month, subscribers can enjoy a plethora of additional content for just £9 more each month.

Moreover, customers opting for the Ultimate TV plan will gain access to over 130 channels, including Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries, Sky Crime, and Sky History, among others. Additionally, Sky Cinema users will benefit from a dedicated Disney movie channel integrated into their planner, allowing them to watch Disney blockbusters without needing to open the Disney+ app separately.

Existing Disney+ users can seamlessly transfer their current plans to Sky, maintaining their profiles and viewing history. Sky has also confirmed that all supported streaming apps will be easily accessible from the homepage, offering users a seamless browsing and viewing experience.

The new Sky Ultimate plan will be available on Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms, ensuring widespread accessibility for customers. Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, emphasized that this update signifies a new era for Sky and NOW, bringing together Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu under one subscription. Ahmad highlighted the integrated viewing experience and exceptional value that customers can expect from the new plan.

The addition of HBO Max at no extra cost for NOW Entertainment customers further enhances the value proposition for subscribers. Sky’s focus on innovation continues with this move, streamlining the process for viewers to enjoy premium entertainment seamlessly.

The comprehensive update includes Netflix Standard with Ads, Disney+ Standard with Ads (from March), HBO Max Basic with Ads (launching on 26th March in the UK & Ireland), Hayu (available from July, with select shows from March), and over 130 channels from Sky. This all-encompassing package aims to provide customers with a diverse range of content options and a user-friendly viewing experience.
