“Two Lucky Individuals Win £1 Million in December 2025 Premium Bond Draw”

Must read

In today’s announcement, the results for December 2025 Premium Bond draw revealed two individuals becoming £1 million richer overnight.

Each month, two lucky winners secure £1 million through Premium Bonds. Among the winners for December 2025, one resides in Norwich with £35,000 in Premium Bonds, having purchased the winning bond number 591RD417238 in August 2024. The second winner, living in Cornwall, holds £20,000 in Premium Bonds, with the winning bond number 615WP633178 acquired in February 2025.

Premium Bonds, offered by National Savings & Investment (NS&I), differ from traditional savings products by entering holders into a monthly prize draw instead of offering a fixed interest rate. The monthly prizes range from £25 to £1 million, with the majority being smaller amounts. While winning is not guaranteed, the excitement of potentially hitting the jackpot keeps over 22 million people invested in Premium Bonds.

Andrew Westhead, NS&I Retail Director, congratulated the recent winners, emphasizing the thrill of becoming millionaires just in time for Christmas. He highlighted the vast array of prizes available each month, including sizes such as £100,000 and £50,000, making Premium Bonds a popular choice for many.

The maximum savings limit for Premium Bonds stands at £50,000, with each pound invested generating a unique bond number. The odds of winning a prize each month with a £1 bond are 22,000 to 1. Winners are promptly notified by email or text message from NS&I, offering the option to have the prize money deposited into their bank account or reinvested into Premium Bonds.

To check for winnings, individuals can utilize the NS&I online prize checker or the Premium Bonds prize checker app. The current prize fund rate, akin to an interest rate, is 3.60%, although it has seen a slight decline in recent months. Despite this, the number of £1 million prizes remains constant each month, with nearly 23 million people holding Premium Bonds.
