Tesco has announced that Clubcard members can now earn two points for every £1 they spend on gift cards throughout December. This special promotion is applicable to all third-party gift cards purchased at Tesco stores for the entire month.
The double points offer extends to any gift card bought at Tesco, not limited to Tesco gift cards. These bonus points will be automatically credited to the Clubcard account of the purchaser.
According to Ban Mahsoub, Partnerships Director at Tesco Insurance and Money Services, the promotion aims to make finding the ideal Christmas gift easier. By earning two points for every £1 spent on gift cards, customers can give thoughtful presents while enjoying rewards for themselves.
Tesco currently boasts approximately 24 million Clubcard members. Members earn one point for every £1 spent on groceries in-store or online, and one point for every two liters of fuel purchased at Tesco petrol stations. Additionally, spending on Tesco Mobile, Tesco credit cards, and using a Tesco Clubcard Pay+ debit card also accrues points towards Clubcard vouchers, which can be redeemed for £1.50 at Tesco.
