“UK Defense Threatened by Farage Ally’s Russia Ties”

Must read

A member of Parliament has raised concerns about the potential impact of having Nigel Farage, known for his friendly stance towards Putin, on the UK’s defense. Keir Starmer criticized Reform UK amid growing calls for an investigation into Russian interference in British politics, following the conviction of Reform’s former Welsh leader for accepting bribes to promote pro-Russia agendas.

Nathan Gill, described as a close associate of Mr. Farage by Lib Dem leader Sir Ed Davey, has admitted to eight counts of bribery after advocating for Russian interests. Sir Ed Davey emphasized the need for a thorough inquiry into Russian influence and financial involvement in British politics, citing examples of interference in other European countries.

During a parliamentary session, the Prime Minister expressed concerns that a government led by Reform UK would jeopardize Britain’s relationships with NATO allies due to Russian interference. The Labour leader highlighted the importance of maintaining trust within NATO and leading the coalition against shared threats, implying that a Putin-friendly stance would undermine national security.

Former UKIP and Brexit Party MEP Nathan Gill, who previously led Reform in Wales, admitted to accepting bribes from individuals linked to Russian security services and promoting their interests in European Parliament and media platforms. His defense of TV channels associated with Putin ally Viktor Medvedchuk in Ukraine further raised suspicions about his ties to Russian interests.
