“EE Introduces Data Parachute Feature in New SIM Plans”

Must read

EE has introduced new SIM plans to address a common issue faced by many customers – running out of data while on the go due to increased file downloads and streaming activities. The new pay-as-you-go SIMs from EE come with a complimentary feature called “Data Parachute,” which automatically provides users with an extra 1GB of data if they unexpectedly run out.

According to EE, the “Data Parachute” feature aims to keep customers connected by offering them additional data for essential tasks like staying in touch with friends, using maps for navigation, or simply having a buffer until they can top up their data allowance.

Starting from £10 per month, these new plans offer various benefits such as data rollover, where any unused data is carried forward to the next month, and free data boosts to increase customers’ data allowances. Additionally, EE’s pay-as-you-go customers can enjoy access to the 5G network, providing enhanced performance and faster speeds.

The pricing for the new plans is as follows:
– £10 for 20GB
– £15 for 75GB
– £20 for 150GB
– £30 for 200GB
– £35 for Unlimited data

While EE’s Data Parachute feature sets it apart, other providers like SMARTY and Giffgaff offer competitive deals in the market. For instance, SMARTY provides 80GB for £8 per month or Unlimited data for £20, while Giffgaff offers 75GB for £10 and 60GB for £13.

It is advisable for consumers to compare different deals and choose a plan that aligns with their data usage needs to avoid unnecessary costs.
