Approaching the midway mark of this season’s Strictly Come Dancing, the 2015 I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! winner seems poised for a strong finish.

Her choice to dance to Cheryl’s hit song “Fight For This Love” was well-received not only by the judges but also by Cheryl herself, a former Girls Aloud member. Vicky shared her excitement about receiving a congratulatory message from Cheryl during a conversation with Angela Scanlon on the Get A Grip podcast.

Describing the moment, Vicky exclaimed, “Honestly, my life’s made. I don’t think I’ll ever be happier.” Cheryl’s message was filled with encouragement and support, urging Vicky to give her best on the dance floor. Vicky even joked about potentially naming her future child after Cheryl as a tribute to their shared Geordie background.

Reflecting on her performance, Vicky confessed that despite appearing confident and strong, she still feels nervous while dancing. She credited the choreographer, Beth Horn, for pushing her beyond her limits and bringing out a fierce performance.

Judge Shirley Ballas praised Vicky for delivering her best dance yet, earning a commendable score of 33 out of 40 points. Vicky took to Instagram to express her gratitude to her fans, the judges, and choreographer Beth Honan for their unwavering support and guidance.

Vicky acknowledged that while she is gaining more confidence on the dance floor, it remains a daunting experience for her. Beth Honan, renowned for her work with various music icons, including Cheryl, has been instrumental in shaping Vicky’s performances on the show, pushing her to embody strength and power in her routines.
