Get ready for some fun and games as I welcome another MP to our show!

I’ve already played games with Labour MPs Dawn Butler and Carolyn Harris on our new political series, Party Games, available on The Mirror’s YouTube channel. This week, we are excited to have our first Liberal Democrat guest, MP Josh Babarinde from Eastbourne.

Amidst rising intimidation and hate towards MPs, our show aims to engage in entertaining and revealing games to uncover the person behind the political figure. Through a wheel of fortune, I select games such as Hug, Marry, Avoid and Ask Me Anything to play with MPs.

In a recent episode, Ms. Harris shared that she once accidentally turned on the Christmas tree lights at No10 when Boris Johnson was PM and was a competitive ballroom dancer in her youth.

In the latest episode, Mr. Babarinde proudly displays his hidden tattoo and shares his experience doing a bungee jump with his adventurous party leader, Sir Ed Davey. Catch the newest episode with Mr. Babarinde on The Mirror’s YouTube show this Sunday at 6 pm.

Stay tuned for some of the highlights from our show…

I recall celebrating my 30th birthday at a water park with friends, including some who are now Lib Dem MPs.

In another instance, a group of friends and I agreed to get matching tattoos symbolizing Eastbourne, the sunniest town in the UK.

At 16, I joined the Liberal Democrats for a free beer mat but stayed due to my belief in the party’s values.

I once wore mismatched socks to Windsor Castle, showcasing my love for Star Wars.

Reflecting on the last election, it was a significant win for the Liberal Democrats, including my election in my hometown.

Eastbourne holds a special place in my heart, and I’ve hosted several MPs there, all of whom enjoyed their time in the sunny town.

Playing games with Members of Parliament is a rare opportunity, which is precisely what our show, Party Games, offers. Launched recently, this show on The Mirror’s YouTube channel features politicians from across the spectrum in a unique party setting.

With a spin of the wheel, we engage in various games like “Would You Rather?” and “Never Have I Ever?” to bring out funny anecdotes, emotional moments, and political insights from MPs. The show aims to humanize politicians and provide viewers with a glimpse behind the scenes of Westminster.

As MPs face increasing threats, our show seeks to bridge the gap between politicians and the public.

In a thrilling experience, I followed my party leader by doing a bungee jump, facing my fears at 160ft above the ground.

Protecting survivors and victims of domestic abuse is a cause close to my heart, stemming from personal experiences and the need for better legal protection.
