The league leaders, Rapid, earned an additional point in their standings thanks to Golen’s timely equalizer in the 92nd minute. Melanie Forbes also contributed a goal for Ottawa (10-2-3) in the 13th minute.
Sarah Stratigakis and Shelina Zadorsky found the back of the net for third-placed Toronto (7-4-4). The match saw both teams reduced to 10 players in the 63rd minute following red cards shown to Choo Hyojoo of Rapid and Cloey Uddenberg of AFC Toronto.
