Wayne Rooney expressed his frustration at his wife, Coleen, no longer ironing his clothes, a task she used to handle daily before the couple became parents to their four sons. The former Manchester United star, aged 39, shared details about their domestic life on The Wayne Rooney Show podcast. He reminisced about how Coleen, also 39, used to prepare his outfits each night, neatly ironed and ready for the next morning.
“Before we had kids, Coleen used to lay out my clothes the night before. So, every day, she would have my clothes ready for me to wear in the morning,” Wayne revealed, expressing his disappointment at having to handle his clothing routine now that they have children.
During the podcast, Wayne also recounted an amusing incident involving a dinner with friends David and Victoria Beckham, along with Frank Lampard and other players. The casual setting, including kebabs for dinner, showcased the humorous and down-to-earth nature of the guests.
