The tablet market continues to be dominated by the iPad, known for its premium design, powerful performance, extensive app library, and long-lasting battery. However, Android competitors, particularly Samsung with its Galaxy Tab series, are rapidly closing the gap. Other manufacturers like HONOR, Amazon, and Microsoft also offer compelling tablet options.
OnePlus has now entered the fray with its latest offering, the OnePlus Pad 3. Powered by the high-performance Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform, this tablet boasts exceptional speed, matching some of the best smartphones on the market.
Featuring a 13.2-inch screen with a unique 7:5 aspect ratio, 256GB of storage, four speakers, over 15 hours of battery life, and a cooling system using vapor chambers, the OnePlus Pad 3 packs a punch. Despite its slim profile, it is bend-resistant and supports rapid 80W SUPERVOOC charging for quick refills.
Running on OxygenOS 15, OnePlus’s latest operating system, the OnePlus Pad 3 offers a range of cutting-edge features, functions, and AI tools. Like the iPad, it supports a full keyboard case for a laptop-like experience and a stylus for note-taking and drawing.
Celina Shi, Chief Marketing Officer for OnePlus Europe, highlighted the OnePlus Pad 3’s focus on power, productivity, and entertainment, setting new standards in the Android tablet market for 2025.
Pre-orders for the OnePlus Pad 3 are now open, with the device hitting stores on June 19. Available in Storm Blue, it comes in two versions: the OnePlus Pad 3 12GB + 256GB priced at £529 and the OnePlus Pad 3 16GB + 256GB priced at £599. Early birds can enjoy a £70 discount and choose between a free Smart Keyboard or Stylo 2 pen.
