Charlie Kirk, a well-known conservative activist and strong advocate of former President Donald Trump, was fatally shot at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. The tragic incident took place in the university’s quad near the campus food court around 12:25pm local time. A statement on Trump’s Truth Social platform confirmed Kirk’s passing after being shot in the neck.
In a heartfelt message, Trump expressed his sorrow, stating, “The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead. No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie. He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania and my Sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika, and family. Charlie, we love you!”
Kirk, a devoted family man, was married to Erika Frantzve, a real estate agent, with whom he had two children, a daughter and a son. The couple met in 2019 and tied the knot in May 2021 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Frantzve holds a degree in Political Science and International Relations from Arizona State University, along with a Juris Master’s degree from Liberty University in 2017 and a Doctorate in Christian Leadership obtained in 2022.
