Police are currently investigating an incident where a schoolgirl was the target of a potential abduction near a Birmingham beauty spot. The unsettling event occurred on Wednesday, September 10, close to Faulkners Farm Drive in Erdington. The 14-year-old girl was reportedly approached by a man who attempted to force her into a vehicle around 8:45 am while she was on her way to school.

Fortunately, the girl managed to escape the situation unharmed, as confirmed by the authorities. However, the girl’s mother shared on social media that her daughter was deeply shaken by the incident. A spokesperson from the West Midlands Police stated that they are actively investigating the attempted abduction of the teenage girl near Witton Lakes Park.
