A delivery driver was captured on camera throwing packages into a van while wearing a bright fluorescent vest. Onlookers were shocked by the careless handling of parcels, with one witness mentioning that the worker seemed unconcerned about the way he was handling the items. The incident took place on Camden High Street in north London, leaving locals surprised by the courier’s behavior.
This incident comes after another delivery driver was caught on CCTV casually tossing parcels outside homes in St Stephen, near St Austell in Cornwall. The footage showed two men unloading packages from a red van, with one man dropping a large parcel on a front lawn and the other carelessly throwing more packages onto the road.
A witness who observed the incident noted that one of the delivery drivers pushed a parcel with his foot and described the rude behavior displayed when confronted about the mishandling of the parcels. Following the incident, a spokesperson for the delivery company stated that the courier’s actions did not meet the company’s standards and confirmed that he would no longer be working for the company.
The company emphasized the importance of parcel handling and expressed that such behavior does not align with the high standards expected from their couriers. They clarified that the courier involved, who was providing temporary cover at the time, would no longer be delivering parcels on behalf of the company.
