“Former Prince Andrew Urged to Testify on Epstein Ties”

Must read

Former Prince Andrew, now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, has been requested by the United States to provide testimony regarding Jeffrey Epstein. Congressional investigators expressed their need for his cooperation in identifying Epstein’s accomplices and supporters. The request was made in a letter from Representative Robert Garcia of the House Oversight Committee, urging the royal to participate in a recorded interview to shed light on his association with Epstein. The letter also sets a deadline for Andrew to respond to the Committee’s inquiry by November 20, 2025.

The Committee on Oversight and Government Reform is conducting an investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking operations and aims to uncover all individuals involved in his criminal activities. Given Andrew’s documented ties to Epstein and the allegations against him regarding underage sexual encounters with Virginia Giuffre, the Committee believes his insights could be crucial to their probe.

Andrew’s longstanding friendship with Epstein, dating back to 1999 and continuing post-Epstein’s 2008 conviction, has raised suspicions about his potential knowledge of Epstein’s illicit actions. Correspondence between Andrew and Epstein, including an email mentioning “we are in this together,” further fuels the Committee’s interest in his involvement. Allegations by Virginia Roberts Giuffre of sexual abuse by Andrew when she was 17, combined with flight records showing Andrew’s travels with Epstein during the latter’s criminal activities, have intensified the scrutiny.

The Committee highlighted concerns about potential efforts to silence Epstein’s victims, including claims of a smear campaign against Giuffre. Recent investigations in the UK into Andrew’s alleged involvement in such activities have underscored the need for his cooperation. The Committee seeks to interview Andrew to gain insights into Epstein’s associates and to address any attempts to obstruct justice or intimidate victims.

Given the urgency and seriousness of the matter, Andrew is urged to respond to the Committee’s request by the specified deadline. The Committee emphasizes its authority to investigate any pertinent issues and urges Andrew to contribute to their efforts by providing relevant information during the interview process.
