Liz shared a video on Instagram showing them gathered in a barn with friends and family to watch the premiere of Fletcher’s Family Farm series three. The barn was set up with tables, chairs, and a large screen for the viewing.
In the video, Liz captioned, “11:30 Fletcher’s on the Farm. We have the crew here all ready for the first ep!” The new series showcases the challenges the family faced after being displaced from their farm due to the fire. The first episode revealed the extent of the damage caused by the fire while the Fletchers were away on vacation.
Kelvin and Liz had to evacuate their farmhouse temporarily as it was deemed uninhabitable. The couple shared emotional moments as they assessed the destruction, with Kelvin mentioning the loss of all his clothing in the fire. The farmhouse, a historic structure standing for over two centuries, suffered extensive damage, including the complete destruction of the roof.
The fire, believed to have originated in the vicinity, spread rapidly, engulfing the entire farmhouse. Despite the swift response of the fire brigade, the smoke damage rendered the residence unsafe to live in. To continue overseeing their farm and animals, Liz and Kelvin relocated to a nearby rented accommodation.
The current episode of Fletcher’s Family Farm chronicles the family’s farming ventures in their fourth year, featuring lambing activities and the introduction of a new bull to their livestock. Kelvin explores arable farming while also addressing the aftermath of the farmhouse fire.
