“Man Guilty of Super Glue in Co-Worker’s Drink”

Must read

A male individual, captured on video surveillance, was found guilty of tampering with a co-worker’s beverage by adding superglue into her Coke. The court issued a sentence of 18 months imprisonment and 24 months of extended supervision, which was then stayed, placing the defendant on three years of probation.

Identified as Joseph Ross, the man pleaded guilty to a felony charge in August after being caught in the act by his female colleague, known only as JH. Suspicious of a strange taste and odor in her soft drinks left on her desk, JH believed they had been contaminated with a chemical substance without her consent.

JH, feeling unwell after consuming the beverages, decided to set up a surveillance camera at the workplace. The footage revealed Ross, aged 35, adding a foreign substance to her Coke can while wearing latex gloves, later disposing of them.

Presenting the incriminating evidence to the authorities, JH, residing in Milwaukee, USA, handed over the footage showing Ross tampering with her drink. Police reports stated that Ross used a small bottle/tube dispenser with a white nozzle, which appeared to be brown/orange in color.

During interrogation, Ross confessed to introducing a “supplement” into JH’s drink. A subsequent search of his office uncovered protective gloves and a container of Gorilla brand super glue, marked with a warning about ingestion risks.

Upon testing the contents, it was confirmed that JH’s Coke can contained glue. As part of Ross’s probation terms, he must complete 75 hours of community service and compose a 300-word essay reflecting on the impact of his actions on the victim, their family, and the community.
