“Max Verstappen’s Net Worth Soars to £230 Million”

Must read

Max Verstappen has seen a remarkable increase in his estimated wealth over the past year, with his total net worth now approaching £230 million, up by almost £44 million. The Red Bull Racing driver has made significant strides in the ranks of Quote 500, a list of the wealthiest individuals in the Netherlands, moving from 322nd place last year to 264th.

Despite celebrating his 28th birthday in late September, Verstappen maintains his position as the youngest individual on the list, a title he has held since debuting in 2022. Initially entering at the 500th spot with a net worth slightly above £105 million, Verstappen’s ascent has been swift, reaching 428th place the following year and then climbing 106 spots in the most recent ranking.

This year’s entry threshold for the list stands just below £123 million, with notable absentees such as Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk. Forbes has recognized Verstappen as the 25th highest-paid athlete globally this year, earning nearly £59 million, primarily from his salary and winnings, supplemented by £4.5 million in endorsements.

Comparatively, Lewis Hamilton ranks higher at 22nd on the Forbes list, earning slightly over £60 million, with endorsements contributing significantly to his earnings, surpassing those of Verstappen. Earlier this year, a report from the Daily Mail revealed Aston Martin’s staggering £750 million offer to Verstappen for the remainder of his career, to which he responded by acknowledging it as a substantial sum.

Verstappen has confirmed his continuation with Red Bull for the upcoming season, having signed a contract extension until 2028, reportedly worth around £40 million per season. Sky has recently discounted its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle for the 2025/26 season, offering savings of £192 and over 1,400 live matches across the Premier League and EFL. The network will broadcast a minimum of 215 live Premier League games next season, an increase of up to 100 matches compared to the previous season.
