Samsung and Google, well-known for their popular phones, are facing competition from a new player in the market. Nothing, a UK-based tech company, has introduced its latest offering, the Phone (3), featuring a unique Glyph Matrix micro-LED display on the rear case. This display allows users to receive alerts, view timers, and play games without utilizing the main 6.67-inch AMOLED panel on the front.
The Glyph Matrix is designed to reduce screen time and streamline information delivery for users. Previous Nothing devices featured the Glyph Interface, which has now been replaced by the small screen on the rear panel, deemed more practical by the company.
Distinct from conventional designs, the Phone (3) boasts a transparent case, providing a peek into its interior. It comes equipped with an enhanced triple-lens rear camera system for improved night photography and 4K video recording capabilities.
Powered by a fast Snapdragon® 8s Gen 4 processor, the Phone (3) houses a substantial 5150mAh battery that supports fast charging and wireless charging. Additionally, the smartphone incorporates smart AI features to enhance tasks such as web searches, photo editing, and inbox organization.
Carl Pei, CEO of Nothing, expressed the company’s vision for the Phone (3) as a flagship device that aims to bring a personalized touch to technology, encouraging creativity, reflecting identity, and empowering users in their connections and creations.
The Phone (3) will be available in black and white color options in two configurations: a 12 GB + 256 GB version priced at £799 and a 16 GB + 512 GB model priced at £899. Global pre-orders for the Phone (3) will commence on July 4, 2025.
