“Prime Minister Criticizes Farage, Defends Albania in Brexit Fallout”

During a recent visit, a Prime Minister expressed concerns over the consequences of Britain’s exit from the EU and criticized Nigel Farage for his dramatic actions.

Albania’s leader, Edi Rama, defended his country and advised critics to refrain from negative comments. He also ridiculed former Conservative Home Secretary Suella Braverman while commending the Labour government for its efforts in tackling illegal migration, contrasting it with the ineffective approach of the opposition.

The Prime Minister is currently in the UK for a summit focusing on combating trafficking in the Balkans. He emphasized the successful cooperation in fighting organized crime and illegal migration, describing it as sustainable and essential in combating trafficking networks.

In reference to Nigel Farage, the Prime Minister stated that the government’s responsibilities differ significantly from the opposition’s rhetoric, highlighting the importance of collaboration regardless of political differences.

Addressing the issue of small boat crossings, Mr. Rama remarked at Chatham House that Brexit had not brought the expected outcomes, leading to increased challenges in areas such as investment and overall happiness.

He expressed frustration that migrants had been unfairly blamed for Brexit-related issues and recalled past derogatory remarks made about Albanians, urging British politicians to treat Albanians with respect and avoid negative stereotypes.

Mr. Rama warned against provoking Albanians and emphasized their positive contributions to society, calling for a halt to unwarranted criticisms. He emphasized the importance of acknowledging the efforts and dedication of Albanians within the diverse community.
