A recent simulation has depicted the potential outcome of a chemical bomb strike on the fortified limousine used by former President Donald Trump, commonly referred to as the “beast.”
As one of the most heavily guarded individuals globally, Trump’s security measures extend to his transportation vehicles due to ongoing threats, exemplified by a rally incident in July of the previous year.
Despite facing risks, the President emerged with minor injuries from the event, marking a significant moment in the 2024 Presidential Election. Notably, past presidents like Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy have also been subject to assassination attempts.
To safeguard the president, steps have been implemented, including the utilization of the “beast” limousine, a robustly armored vehicle used for his travel when not on Air Force One or Marine One.
Weighing 20,000lbs and costing $1.5 million to construct, the Beast was introduced in 2018, equipped with undisclosed security features like night vision technology, tear gas deployment, and electrified door handles to deter unauthorized access.
The limousine boasts three-inch thick bulletproof windows, eight-inch thick armor, and a secure communication system capable of nuclear launch codes. Additionally, it houses a fridge containing the president’s blood type for emergencies.
In the event of a chemical or biological attack, the limo can provide oxygen within a sealed cabin. A recent simulation video showcased the vehicle’s response to such a threat, illustrating a lockdown procedure and the activation of emergency oxygen reserves.
Impressed viewers lauded the vehicle’s capabilities, with comments highlighting its tank-like qualities and suggesting its potential use in wartime scenarios.
The demonstration depicted in a YouTube video emphasized the sophisticated security measures of the presidential limousine in responding to imminent dangers, reinforcing the importance of protecting high-profile figures in today’s security landscape.
