Stacey Solomon Reflects on Awards Journey

Must read

Stacey Solomon has released a statement before the NTAs tonight, following her outburst after not winning a BAFTA. The 35-year-old, nominated for Best Presenter at the prestigious event in London, was upset in May when she missed out on awards for her BBC program, “Sort Your Life Out.”

The X Factor personality confessed she didn’t handle the loss well back then, but she now appears more positive as she shared a composed message on social media. She posted a picture of an elegant black dress in her bathroom at Pickle Cottage, along with cute girls’ floral dresses and formal wear, expressing gratitude for her nomination.

She mentioned she was preparing for the event in London with her entire family, expressing thankfulness for the nomination, which is decided by the public. She conveyed her appreciation to her supporters for the opportunity, emphasizing the significance of the moment shared with her loved ones.

In contrast to her initial reaction to the BAFTA loss, Stacey’s recent post reflects a more composed demeanor. She admitted feeling ‘devastated’ for not winning the BAFTA after being nominated for Entertainment Performance on “Sort Your Life Out,” which was awarded to Joe Lycett. The BBC One show was also up for Factual Entertainment but was surpassed by Rob and Rylan’s Grand Tour.

Filming in her garden at Pickle Cottage the morning after the awards, Stacey expressed her disappointment at not winning a BAFTA, particularly for her hard-working team on “Sort Your Life Out.” She acknowledged the deserving winners while expressing her sadness for her team not receiving recognition.

Stacey concluded by reiterating her team’s worthiness of a BAFTA, despite gracefully acknowledging the other winners’ achievements. She emphasized the effort put into creating television and the importance of recognizing everyone’s contributions within the industry.
