“Tesco Shoppers Uncover Discount Expiry Dates with ‘Hidden Code’ Trick”

Must read

Bargain-hunting expert Jordon Cox has shared a clever method to uncover a “hidden code” that signals when a discount is nearing its end at Tesco.

Jordon, known as the Coupon King on ITV’s This Morning, regularly imparts money-saving advice on social media. In a recent video, he demonstrated how a six-digit number on products under the Clubcard Price promotion indicates the offer’s expiration date.

By decoding the number in reverse and in blocks of two, shoppers can determine the expiry date: the last two digits represent the day, the middle two the month, and the first two the year. This trick allows regular buyers to track when deals expire and plan their purchases accordingly, saving money on their shopping trips.

Meanwhile, Tesco is reminding customers to act promptly as £16.5 million worth of Clubcard vouchers are set to expire by November 30. These vouchers, earned through various purchases like groceries, fuel, Tesco Mobile, and credit card transactions, can be redeemed for discounts at Tesco.

To receive a Clubcard voucher worth £1.50, customers need a minimum of 150 points, and currently, more than 24 million UK households are Clubcard holders.

Shama Wilson, Tesco Group Membership and Loyalty Director, emphasized the importance of utilizing Clubcard vouchers, highlighting attractive offers available through Clubcard Rewards. The current value of expiring vouchers is higher than usual, offering exciting benefits like discounted cinema tickets and food rewards.
