Trump’s Press Secretary Affirms President’s Excellent Health

Must read

Karoline Leavitt, the Press Secretary for Donald Trump, downplayed inquiries about the health of the 79-year-old US President, asserting that he is in “excellent physical condition.”

During a White House press briefing held on Tuesday, just ahead of the US Supreme Court’s review of Trump’s tariffs on Canada, Mexico, and China, Leavitt fielded questions raised by CNN’s Kristen Holmes regarding Trump’s recent MRI.

In response, Leavitt referred to a previous physical examination report from earlier this year, emphasizing that the President’s health was deemed to be in peak condition. She mentioned that the MRI was part of a follow-up appointment and assured that detailed information had been provided previously and could be shared again upon request.

Holmes, however, persisted, highlighting the specificity of an MRI procedure compared to routine check-ups. She pointed out the lack of transparency in the information provided and questioned the need for more details regarding the President’s health status.

The scrutiny on Trump’s health has intensified recently due to various public appearances and absences, fueling speculations about his well-being. Reports of bruises on his hands and swollen ankles have raised concerns, although his doctor previously indicated that Trump’s cardiac age is notably younger than his actual age.

Trump reportedly underwent a routine yearly checkup at Walter Reed Medical Centre in Bethesda, Maryland, where his physician, Navy Captain Sean Barbabella, affirmed the President’s exceptional health across various medical parameters.
