Ashley Macholz, a 30-year-old from San Jose, California, initially attributed the pain and swelling in her left ear to her summer activities of frequent swimming. Despite following a prescribed treatment plan for a month, her condition did not improve, prompting a visit to the emergency room.
After a CT scan revealed the presence of a tumor pressing on her brain, doctors swiftly arranged for surgery. In a surprising turn of events, Ashley and her fiancé Bryan decided to tie the knot in the hospital before the operation.
