Virgin Media users who subscribe to Sky Entertainment channels will soon receive Sky Atlantic for free starting next month. This update will be available to Virgin TV 360 and Stream box customers from April 1. To access Sky Atlantic content, users can tune in to channel 111 on the Virgin TV platform or watch on-demand via Virgin TV Go.
David Bouchier, Chief TV and Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, expressed excitement about the addition of Sky Atlantic, known for its captivating dramas and compelling stories. This enhancement aims to provide seamless entertainment value to over a million Virgin TV customers without any additional cost.
Meanwhile, Sky has introduced a new Ultimate TV plan featuring premium channels like Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the upcoming HBO Max app. Priced at £24, this plan will be accessible on Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms. Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, described this update as the beginning of a new era for Sky and NOW, consolidating Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu into a single subscription package.
