“Virgin Media UK Introduces Complimentary Smart Support Upgrade”

Virgin Media customers in the UK are receiving a complimentary upgrade to their internet service through the newly introduced Smart Support feature. This service, now available nationwide, provides round-the-clock assistance aimed at ensuring seamless connectivity throughout the year.

Smart Support automatically monitors broadband performance and promptly addresses speed or connectivity issues as they arise. Users will receive real-time guidance to troubleshoot any problems, minimizing disruptions that could impact activities like streaming or remote work.

Additionally, Virgin Media can remotely carry out maintenance and updates during off-peak hours to prevent any daytime service disruptions. In cases where stronger network coverage is needed, customers may be recommended to upgrade to a WiFi Pod or Hub, with the option to schedule a visit from an engineer at no extra charge for more serious issues.

Gareth Lister, Director of Connectivity at Virgin Media O2, highlighted the importance of Smart Support in ensuring continuous, reliable connectivity for customers. He emphasized the service’s proactive monitoring and quick issue resolution to keep users online, complementing the provider’s high-speed internet offerings.

Virgin Media has confirmed that Smart Support will be provided to all customers as a standard feature without any additional fees.
