Wetherspoon is kicking off its January Sale today at 600 of its pubs, offering a pint of beer for as low as 99p. The discounted drinks include Worthington’s beer at 99p per pint, Coldwater Creek wine for £2.99 per 250ml glass, Johnnie Walker Black Label (25ml with mixer) for £1.99, and Tanqueray gin (25ml with mixer) for £1.99.

The promotion extends to a variety of low-alcohol and alcohol-free beverages such as Guinness 0.0, Corona Cero, Brewdog Punk AF, Stella Artois Alcohol Free, Erdinger Isotonic, Thatchers zero, Koppaberg Alcohol Free, and Gordons 0.0 pink gin at £1.69 each. Beck’s Blue and Sanpellegrino Aranciata Rossa will be available for 99p each.

Moreover, Wetherspoon is offering discounts on food items like an 11-inch Margherita pizza or a chicken burger with chips for £4.99 including a soft drink or £6.52 with an alcoholic beverage.

For those craving jacket potatoes, customers can choose from a selection of six fillings such as tuna mayo, coleslaw, chilli bean non-carne, cheese, baked beans, or roasted vegetables for £4.99 with a soft drink or £6.52 with an alcoholic drink. Extra fillings or side salads can be added for 99p. Additionally, new gourmet jacket potatoes are introduced, priced at £6.49 with a soft drink and £8.02 with an alcoholic beverage.

The gourmet jacket potatoes include options like the loaded spud topped with cheese, maple-cured bacon, garlic butter, and sour cream; the Mexican spud featuring chilli bean non-carne, cheese, guacamole, crushed tortilla chips, sliced chillies, and coriander; and the smoky potato loaded with pulled BBQ beef brisket, cheese, smoky chipotle mayo, and sliced chillies.

Wetherspoon’s founder and chairman, Tim Martin, expressed excitement about the January Sale, highlighting the diverse range of drinks and food offerings to cater to various preferences, including a considerable selection of low and non-alcoholic drinks. The sale will be available in 600 pubs from January 2, extending until January 15, or starting from January 3 in Scotland. Prices may vary at Wetherspoon’s other 200 venues.
