This year, the campaign features five limited edition knits inspired by fruits from innocent’s smoothies, designed in collaboration with House of Sunny. The collection, modeled by knitters from Age UK and promoted by The Great British Bake Off star Prue Leith, showcases playful and colorful jumpers and cardigans with fruit motifs.
Starting on October 22, the knitwear collection can be won through giveaways on innocent’s website and Instagram account. Prue Leith expressed her excitement about the campaign, emphasizing its aim to support older people and make a positive impact.
Since 2003, the Big Knit campaign has raised over £3.6 million to aid older individuals across the UK. Partnering with Age UK, the campaign involves hand-knitting tiny hats for innocent smoothie bottles, with 30p from each bottle sold going towards supporting the well-being of older adults.
This year, the campaign goes beyond the usual knitted hats by offering the chance to win and wear fruity knitwear. The five designs include strawberry, cherry, mango, lemon, and pineapple motifs in crew neck jumper or collared cardigan styles.
To participate in the knitwear giveaways, visit innocent’s website and Instagram account starting October 22 at 10 am. Additional drops will occur on October 24, 28, and 31, and November 4. Winners will be selected after the competition closes on November 5, with a variety of designs available for cardigans and jumpers.
