Newlywed’s Honeymoon Tragedy Unfolds in Montana

Must read

After tying the knot, a couple’s honeymoon turned tragic when Jordan Linn Graham and Cody Johnson, who had been married for only eight days, went for a hike in a Montana national park. Graham reported Johnson missing on July 8, 2013, claiming he had left for a drive with a friend after receiving a distressing phone call. Two days later, she found his body while hiking in Glacier Park. Initially, she lied about the circumstances surrounding his death but later confessed during the investigation, revealing that they had a heated argument that led to Johnson falling off a cliff edge.

Graham’s friend disclosed that she had doubts about the marriage and had planned to confront Johnson the night he died. Suspicion arose among acquaintances, with one friend expressing concerns about Graham’s involvement in Johnson’s demise. Despite initially stating it was an accident, Graham ultimately pleaded guilty to second-degree murder during her trial. She received a 30-year prison sentence and is expected to serve the full term without the possibility of parole. The judge remarked that Graham had not been entirely truthful about the events leading to Johnson’s death.
