“Clarkson Throws Shade at Corden During Book Promo”

Must read

Jeremy Clarkson recently took a subtle jab at former talk show host James Corden while promoting his latest book, The Farmer’s Dog. The 65-year-old ex-Top Gear presenter has been garnering attention as a first-time farmer at Diddly Squat, with audiences worldwide tuning in to his Amazon Prime series.

In a move to stir up some drama, Clarkson shared a video with fans to introduce the fifth installment of his book series, Diddly Squat: The Farmer’s Dog, on Instagram. He read an excerpt from his book, giving viewers a glimpse into his experiences on the farm, including a quirky anecdote involving a deer with makeshift reindeer antlers.

During the video, Clarkson glanced over at James Corden and Ruth Jones’ book titled When Gavin Met Stacey and Everything in Between, and confidently remarked, “Better than that.” The popular BBC comedy series, which debuted in 2007 and ran for three seasons, also treated fans to two Christmas specials, the latest one in 2024 attracting over 20 million viewers.

Aside from Corden, Clarkson has not shied away from targeting other celebrities with his sharp wit. Notably, his feud with Piers Morgan grabbed headlines, culminating in a physical altercation in 2004 that left Morgan with a scar and Clarkson with a broken finger. The duo sparred verbally for years before eventually reaching a truce over a drink.

Clarkson’s confrontational nature extends to his on-screen presence, as seen during an episode of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire where he humorously recounted a water-pouring incident involving Piers Morgan. Despite their past animosity, the two media personalities managed to put their differences aside and avoid further altercations.
