“House Overwhelmingly Approves Bill to Release Epstein Files”

Must read

Donald Trump’s attempt to prevent the Epstein files from being disclosed had an unexpected outcome when the House of Congress overwhelmingly approved a bill to release all documents related to Jeffrey Epstein.

The final vote tallied 427-1 in favor of passing the legislation, with 216 Republicans and 211 Democrats supporting the Epstein Files Transparency Act. This move has intensified the scandal surrounding Andrew Mounbatten Windsor, as the United States edges closer to making all documents linked to him public.

A source on Capitol Hill revealed, “This vote places the former Duke in even deeper trouble. The release of these files risks bringing back every uncomfortable detail into the limelight, putting more pressure on the Royal Family. Despite their efforts to move past this issue, it is resurfacing.”

Andrew lost all his royal titles due to his association with Jeffrey Epstein. The chamber’s overwhelming support for the measure, with only one Republican, Clay Higgins, voting against it, now shifts the focus to the Republican-led Senate to determine the bill’s advancement. While key party members express backing for transparency, the Senate’s decision on bringing the legislation forward remains pending.

The bill mandates the US Attorney General, Pam Bondi, to make all unclassified records, emails, notes, and internal Justice Department communications concerning Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell available in a searchable format. It also includes flight logs, travel data, and documents identifying individuals connected to Epstein. The records must be released within 30 days of the bill’s enactment, allowing redaction of victim information or details compromising ongoing federal investigations.

Before the vote, co-authors Republican Thomas Massie and Democrat Ro Khanna, along with Marjorie Taylor Greene, stood with multiple Epstein survivors in a press conference urging swift Senate action. Khanna emphasized the importance of survivors’ courage in bringing the truth to light for a national reckoning.

As support for the bill gained momentum, Trump, who initially sought to impede its progress, eventually endorsed it on social media, calling on Republicans to back the legislation. This shift received mixed reactions, with critics accusing Trump of politicizing the issue. Despite past associations with Epstein, Trump maintained his position of having distanced himself from the financier before legal troubles arose.

The bill’s passage signifies a significant development in the Epstein saga, shedding light on a dark chapter involving powerful individuals and illicit activities. The push for transparency and accountability underscores the ongoing efforts to uncover the truth behind the Epstein scandal.
