“Alberta Storm Warning Lifted After Severe Weather Hits Southern Region”

Must read

Environment Canada has canceled a yellow warning for severe weather following a storm that swept through parts of southern Alberta. The agency cautioned about potential damaging wind gusts, large hail, and heavy rain as the storm progressed from Claresholm towards areas near Lethbridge and Medicine Hat. The initial warning, issued earlier on Tuesday, highlighted the possibility of a severe thunderstorm capable of generating baseball-sized hail and causing destruction to buildings and trees.

Despite the lift of the yellow warning, a watch for a severe thunderstorm remained active for a significant portion of the region, extending from Claresholm towards Hays and reaching south to the U.S. border as of Tuesday night. For the most current updates, individuals are advised to visit the Environment Canada website.
