Prince Andrew Denies Involvement in Epstein Scandal

Must read

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has denied any involvement in the sexual abuse allegations against him and Jeffrey Epstein. In an email exchange from March 2011, Andrew expressed frustration over the mounting criticism related to his association with Epstein. The email chain, which included Ghislaine Maxwell and two lawyers, was in response to inquiries about allegations involving Andrew and a complainant identified as Virginia Giuffre.

In a separate email thread later on, Peter Mandelson, the UK’s former Ambassador, advised Epstein against giving an interview to the BBC. Mandelson, who was dismissed due to his ties to Epstein, expressed regret over his past association with the financier.

Amid ongoing controversies, Andrew has faced scrutiny over allegations made by Virginia Giuffre, who accused him of involvement in Epstein’s activities. Following the release of Giuffre’s posthumous memoir, King Charles stripped Andrew of his royal title and is removing him from Royal Lodge. Andrew settled a civil lawsuit with Giuffre without admitting guilt.

During a BBC interview in 2019, Andrew claimed he had no recollection of meeting Giuffre but acknowledged his interactions with Epstein. He also confirmed visits to Epstein’s properties and encounters with Ghislaine Maxwell at royal residences.
