“Selling Sunset Co-Star’s Insensitive Remark Sparks Tension”

Must read

Selling Sunset’s Nicole Young caused a stir among her co-stars by mentioning Chrishell Stause’s deceased parents during a tense exchange. The ninth season of the popular show premiered on October 29, featuring a dramatic confrontation during a dinner gathering in episode two.

The dispute between Nicole, 39, and Chrishell, 44, escalated over rumors spread by Nicole about Emma Hernan’s alleged involvement with a married man. Chrishell, in return, defended her claims about Nicole’s supposed drug use.

In a sharp retort, Nicole quipped, “You’re mixing me up with your folks, alright?”

The remark left the table in shock, as it was pointed out that Chrishell’s parents had passed away. Subsequently, Nicole was asked to leave the office for her inflammatory comment.

Chrishell, known for openly discussing her parents’ deaths and their struggles with addiction, reflected on the argument, stating, “The way she brought up my parents’ past drug use made it seem like they died from it.”

Notably, Chrishell’s father Jeff passed away in April 2019 after battling lung cancer, while her mother Ranae succumbed to the same illness in July 2020. Neither parent’s death was related to drug use, although Chrishell acknowledged their past struggles with addiction.

Chrishell, who was adopted at birth, shared her emotional journey of losing both parents, expressing her feelings following her father’s passing and her mother’s subsequent battle with cancer.

She paid tribute to her mother, reminiscing, “Watching you take your last breath was heart-wrenching, but knowing you two are reunited, free from pain, brings peace.”

“Selling Sunset” season 9 is currently available for streaming on Netflix.
