An elderly landlord reportedly shot and killed a naked intruder who forcibly entered his residence by body-slamming him onto concrete and breaking his legs. The 79-year-old landlord, a military veteran, bravely defended himself when the intruder barged into a building on Tujunga Avenue in Los Angeles, USA, prompting women nearby to call for help.
Witnesses recounted seeing the nude intruder lift the elderly man and slam him onto the concrete driveway, prompting the landlord to fire shots in self-defense, hitting the suspect three times, as stated by Captain Warner Castillo from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).
The elderly man, described by local residents as kind and gentle, was taken to the hospital after the incident, and his current condition is unknown. Fortunately, the women who alerted others were unharmed. A witness who heard the commotion initially mistook it for a house fire upon seeing the naked intruder, expressing shock at the unfolding events.
CCTV footage captured the intruder wandering the neighborhood before the confrontation. A video from a local’s Ring doorbell showed the intruder approaching a home’s front door and grabbing a sign before proceeding down the street. Another witness mentioned that the intruder attempted to enter the property through an open gate before the altercation occurred.
