A man was stabbed in the back seat of a woman’s car in a shocking incident that resembled a scene from a horror movie. The unsettling attack took place in Merseyside when a man entered the backseat of a car driven by a woman who was with her elderly mother on Park Road South. The woman had offered refuge to a man she saw being pursued on the street just moments before.
Upon ushering the pursued man into her vehicle, one of his assailants unexpectedly followed and proceeded to stab him in the leg. The quick-thinking woman accelerated her car to shake off the attacker, enabling the injured man to receive prompt medical attention. Merseyside Police later confirmed that the victim was rushed to the hospital for urgent treatment.
The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, recounted the distressing incident to the media, expressing her shock at the events. She initially thought the man she encountered might be under the influence of drugs as he frantically attempted to open car doors while yelling. Upon noticing two individuals on a moped chasing him, she urged him to get into her car for safety.
The situation escalated when the attacker mercilessly stabbed his victim inside the car, causing chaos and bloodshed. The woman’s decisive action of accelerating the car swiftly ejected the attacker from the vehicle. Despite the chaotic scene, she managed to guide the injured man to his residence, where his family was distraught over the incident.
The 18-year-old victim, who sustained two stab wounds to his leg, was treated at Aintree Hospital and has since been discharged. Merseyside Police arrested a 17-year-old boy from Noctorum on suspicion of severe wounding, robbery, and drug possession related to the incident. The suspect has been released on conditional bail as investigations continue.
