Virgin Media has recently discounted its fastest broadband package to a new all-time low price. The company has initiated an unexpected sale event that has slashed over £70 off its ultra-fast Gig1 Fibre Broadband service.
This high-speed broadband offers speeds reaching up to 1,130Mbps and normally comes at a price of £29.99 per month. However, it is currently available for just £26.99, resulting in a total saving of £72 over the 24-month contract period, which averages out to approximately 87p per day.
Virgin claims that this promotion marks the ‘lowest ever price’ for its Gig1 plan. With such speeds, users can download a feature-length HD movie in less than half a minute and have a 50GB PS5 game ready to play in under seven minutes.
