Sci-fi enthusiasts were puzzled by a recent sighting of what seemed to be a UFO hovering near an active volcano. Video footage captured by a webcam showed a mysterious glowing object above the Popocatepetl crater in the Mexican states of Puebla and Morelos before swiftly darting away at high speeds. The peculiar flying saucer-like object appeared to be observing the volcanic activity as smoke and flames billowed out of the crater. The event was recorded by monitoring cameras at the base of the volcano last Thursday.
Standing at an elevation of 17,802 feet (5,426 meters), Popocatepetl is among Mexico’s most active volcanoes. Despite multiple low-intensity eruptions on the reported day, local authorities have not provided any official statement regarding the origin of the unidentified flying object. The National Center for Disaster Prevention reported the eruptions, which included steam, gases, and minor ash emissions, urging the public to adhere to a 12-kilometer exclusion zone around the crater.
Meanwhile, UFO expert Jaime Maussan suggested that Popocatepetl may serve as an “inter-dimensional portal,” enabling intergalactic travelers to move between different locations in space-time. Maussan highlighted the extreme temperatures inside the volcano, reaching approximately 1,000 degrees Celsius, as a barrier preventing man-made objects from entering. He referred to research from the University of Bergen in Norway, which identified magnetic storms beneath the volcano crucial for creating X-points, facilitating the generation of a Dimensional Portal.
X-points represent locations where Earth’s magnetic field intersects with that of the Sun, forming a bridge between the two magnetic fields. These X-points allow a connection from Earth to the Sun’s atmosphere, which is about 93 million miles away. In a separate incident, speculation arose among alien enthusiasts following an aircraft crash near Area 51, leading to a joint investigation by the Air Force Office of Special Investigations and the FBI. The crash, which involved an aircraft from the 432nd wing at Creech Air Force Base, triggered heightened security measures and a temporary flight restriction in the vicinity of Area 51 for national security reasons.
Details surrounding the crash at Area 51 have been limited, with authorities maintaining secrecy about the incident. The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed the imposition of a temporary flight restriction east of Area 51 on the day of the crash for national security concerns. The restriction remained in place until October 1, encompassing an area close to the well-known Extraterrestrial Highway.
