An anonymous source revealed that Lucy Letby, a former nurse convicted of multiple child murders, indulges in watching Channel 4’s Come Dine With Me and stockpiles Maltesers in her prison cell at HMP Bronzefield in Surrey.
Currently serving multiple life sentences for her crimes at the NHS Countess of Chester Hospital, Letby is reportedly accommodated in Unit Four, designated for ‘enhanced inmates’ who exhibit good behavior and are granted certain privileges like extra visits, a personal TV, and wearing their own clothes.
According to insider reports, Letby’s routine in prison includes participating in various activities, such as cleaning and educational programs, but she particularly enjoys watching Come Dine With Me marathons on TV. Additionally, she is said to stash Maltesers and Minstrels in her cell, purchased with money sent by her acquaintances.
Concerns for Letby’s safety prompted her transfer to the enhanced unit to protect her from potential attacks by other inmates, as sources within the prison disclosed. Despite being perceived as a model prisoner by staff, her presence on the enhanced unit has sparked criticism due to the severity of her crimes.
Letby received 15 life sentences in August 2023 at Manchester Crown Court, making her one of the few women in British history to receive a whole life order, ensuring she remains incarcerated indefinitely. Despite failed appeals, her legal team has lodged a claim of miscarriage of justice in a bid to challenge her convictions.
