A 52-year-old British tourist tragically passed away at a hotel on Caye Caulker island in Belize shortly after checking in, as reported by concerned neighbors who heard a loud noise. The man had arrived at the Casa Vista Hotel just the day before. When neighbors investigated the sound, they found the man unconscious on the ground and immediately took him to the Caye Caulker Health Center. Despite medical efforts, he sadly succumbed to his injuries that same evening. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his untimely death.
Officer Stacy Smith from the Caye Caulker formation confirmed the incident, stating that on October 28, 2025, officers responded to a report of an unconscious male at the health clinic. The cause of the man’s injuries is still unknown. This incident follows another recent tragedy involving the death of a British man in Malta.
