Coleen Nolan recently opened up about her concerns regarding her daughter’s romantic relationship before her engagement. During a segment of the Loose Women: Just Between Us podcast, Coleen and fellow ITV panelist Jane Moore discussed a fan’s dilemma involving the new boyfriend of a listener’s daughter.
Jane, reading a message from a listener named Joanne, expressed reservations about the boyfriend despite him treating the daughter well. Joanne felt that they came from different backgrounds and believed her daughter could find someone better.
In response, Jane and Coleen, who shared their own experiences introducing boyfriends to their parents, suggested that Joanne should let her daughter live her life and make her own choices.
The conversation then shifted to Coleen’s daughter, Ciara, and her fiancé, Maxx Innes, who are now expecting their first child. Coleen initially had reservations about Maxx, who played guitar in Shane’s band, but soon found him to be “absolutely brilliant” once they started dating.
Reports from last year indicated that Maxx proposed to Ciara in Vietnam during their holiday, with Ciara sharing the news on social media with excitement. Coleen also expressed her joy and support for the couple, looking forward to their upcoming wedding.
