National Lottery Draw Halted Over Bonus Ball Glitch

Must read

The National Lottery draw came to a standstill due to a technical issue, causing confusion among viewers of the live broadcast. Allwyn, the operator, announced that the Saturday night’s Lotto draw was halted because the bonus ball did not drop as expected. They assured that the draw would recommence promptly with a new machine and oversight from an independent adjudicator.

The live stream abruptly ended before the bonus ball was selected around 8 pm, citing technical difficulties. The winning Lotto numbers were later disclosed as 04, 09, 28, 40, 42, 59, with the Bonus Ball number being 55, offering an estimated jackpot of £10.5 million for the night.

Additionally, the National Lottery Thunderball winning numbers for the evening were 09, 11, 13, 28, 34, with the Thunderball number being 13. The National Lottery issued a statement explaining the pause in the draw due to the bonus ball issue, ensuring a fair redo under supervision.

Reports on the Downdetector online fault reporting service indicated a surge in problem reports during the 8 pm draw timeframe. In a separate event, the Euromillions draw on Friday did not produce any jackpot winners for the £45 million prize. The winning EuroMillions numbers were 07, 08, 25, 31, 45, along with Lucky Star numbers 07, 12. The upcoming Tuesday’s jackpot is estimated to be £54 million.
