“Steve Bannon Alleges Epstein Link to Trump and Prince Andrew”

Must read

Former Trump advisor Steve Bannon made remarks about Jeffrey Epstein serving as a link between the US President and then-Prince Andrew, as revealed in 23,000 documents provided to the US House Oversight Committee by Epstein’s estate. The messages coincided with Trump’s initial state visit to the UK, where he and Melania participated in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior, accompanied by Prince Andrew.

After images from the event surfaced, Epstein messaged Bannon, commenting on Trump and Prince Andrew being together, to which Bannon responded, emphasizing Epstein’s influence. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt accused Democrats of selectively leaking emails to tarnish Trump’s reputation.

Virginia Giuffre, who accused Prince Andrew, previously worked at Trump’s Mar A Lago resort before allegedly being introduced to Epstein by Ghislaine Maxwell. In earlier correspondences, Prince Andrew denied any involvement in the sex abuse allegations against him and Epstein.

Epstein later confirmed a photo of Andrew with Giuffre and revealed a conversation with Peter Mandelson, the former UK ambassador, advising him to distance himself from Andrew. Additionally, emails showed Mandelson rejecting media requests to discuss Andrew and Epstein.

Epstein’s death in 2019, while awaiting trial for sex trafficking charges, added more complexity to the case. Prince Andrew faced ongoing scrutiny over his connections with Epstein and Giuffre’s allegations, settling a lawsuit with her for a reported sum in 2022 without admitting guilt.

In a BBC interview, Andrew claimed no recollection of meeting Giuffre but acknowledged his interactions with Epstein and Maxwell, including visits to Epstein’s properties. The fallout led King Charles to strip Andrew of his royal title and initiate eviction from Royal Lodge.
